  Excerpts from Saranac Obituary

      ERIC JAMES HEARLD

Died Friday, October 17,2025-age 49 of Saranac, lost his battle with Cancer.
BornOctober 29, 1975 in Ionia, son of Benedict & Phyllis (Smith) Hearld.
Eric enjoyed watching the wildlife, having a campfire & just listening to the 
Creek.
He loved the Detroit Tigers & Detroit Lions teams.
He enjoyed his guns, wood burning & collectng baseball cards.
Eric worked in buffing & polishing for over 30 years.
He was a finishing manager at Wilkast Inc, a job he took great pride in.
Survived by his wife, Jessica; son, Kamweron Conroe & his fiance' Bayley Steel; 
stepdaughters, Jeri Martin, Elli & Tristen (Kosh) Merrill, Stepson, Kaiden 
(Ashley) Tyler; sister, Jodi Hearld, father, Ben Hearld & sweet grand baby Ivy 
Martin; nephew, Connor (Kylie) Hearld; niece, Brooklynn Hearld, great nephew 
Malcolm Hearld, & several Aunts, Uncles & cousins & lifetime of friends.
Preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Smith.
Cremation has taken place & a Celebration of Life & benefit breakfast will be  
held from 9Am-11AM Sunday, October 26, at Tavern 1836, 101 N Westphalia, St. 
Westphalia, MI 48894.
