Ionia Sentinel, 19 Aug 1946

Funeral services for Wallace H. Hearsey, who died of a heart attack at the 
Ionia County Memorial hospital Friday were held at 9 a.m. from the SS. Peter 
and Paul church with the Rev. Father Edward Jaworowicz officiating at the 
Requiem High Mass.  Interment was at the Olivet cemetery.  A prayer service at 
the Bradley funeral home preceded the church service.  Mrs. Edward Haight, jr., 
was in charge of the flowers.  Bearers, members of the Elks and Knights of 
Columbus, were Albert Slowinski, Charles Boughey, Arthur Temske, Ed Haight, 
jr., Frank Corcoran and Roy Piper.

Attending from away were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Brown of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. 
Kenneth Pryatt and Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Droste of Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph 
McGannon of Detroit and Mrs. Patrick Beahan of Grand Rapids.
