Ionia Sentinel Standard - September 4, 1985

                              KATHERINE J.HEATOR

IONIA-Katherine J. Heator, 90, of Ionia, died Sept. 2, at the Ionia County 
Memorial Hospital.

She was born September 12, 1894, the daughter of O.Newton Stout and Ida Kauffman 
Stout.

She attended Ferris Institute.

She was married to J.Erwin Heator December 25, 1920, in Ionia. he preceded her 
in death in 1970.

They lived on the family farm, 4662 E. David Highway until 1970.

Surviving are a daughter, Josephine Nash of Lyons, two granddaughters Sherry 
Thelen of Grand Haven, Teresa Nash of South Haven; grandson Dwight Nash of 
Elsie; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Irene Phelps of Lowell and Ruth 
Roland of Flint; and nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the LeValley United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. from the LeValley United Methodist 
Church, the Rev. Willis Braun officiating.

Burial wil be in Balcom cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 7-9 p.m.

A memorial fund has been established for the Grace Children's Hospital, through 
the LeValley United Methodist Church.

Arrangements by the Montgomery-Leddick Funeral Home.
