The Ionia Daily Standard, Thursday, August 26, 1917

Rev. Cyrus Mendenhall conducted the funeral services for Alfred H. Heath at 
the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Heath this afternoon, the Episcopal ritual 
only being used.  The bearers were chosen from the men employed by the State 
Bank—A. J. Hemingway, G. L. Yates, Dee Wilson, W. Y. Templeton, Leland Hicks 
and Vigo Nielson.  Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Smith and daughter Ruth of Detroit, Mr. 
and Mrs. A. H. Tuttle of Pittsburg and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Heath of Holland were 
here to attend the funeral.
