Alonzo Heath had been in poor health for the past two years, but was not confined to the house until about a month ago. He moved to Lake Odessa in 1887 and has been largely identified in the growth of the village ever since. He followed the business of contractor and builder and also owned and controled a planning and sawmill. He was born in Beaverly, Ontario, in 1837 and was married to his now bereaved companion June 15, 1859. Two sons, Trume and Edwin, are the only survivors of this union, a daughter having died in early life. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church, Tuesday at 2 p.m., Rev. Odlum officiating. The remains were interred in the Lakeside Cemetery.
