Mrs. Clysta Heaven, 94, of Clarksville, died Friday evening at Ionia Manor 
where she had lived since March 10, 1969.

Born in Plainfield August 6, 1882, Mrs. Heaven was the daughter of Thomas and 
Lucinda Knickerbacher Sparks.  She attended the Pleasant Valley school and was 
married to Joseph Watkins in Omaha, Neb., in 1903.

She moved to Ann Arbor in 1942 and was married to Charles S. Heaven in Milan on 
November 2, 1944.

Mrs. Heaven was employed as a seamstress in Omaha and also at University 
hospital in Ann Arbor.

They moved to Clarksville in 1945 and made their home on a farm.

Mrs. Heaven is survived by one son, Walwyan Watkins, of Billings, Mont., one 
step-son, Richard Heaven, of Ypsilanti, three grandchildren, several great 
grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and seven step-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Monday from the Pickens-Koop funeral 
chapel, Clarksville, Rev. Elwood Norton of Clarksville Bible church 
officiating.  Interment was in Clarksville cemetery.
