Heaven, Sr., 68, of Clarksville, died Tuesday morning at Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids following an extended illness. He had been hospitalized two weeks. He was born in Washington October 8, 1906, the son of John and Lydia Ginrich Heaven and came to Clarksville when an infant spending the remainder of his life there. A retired railroad worker he was section foreman for the PM and C & O railroads 39 years, retiring in 1965. He was a member of the Clarksville F&AM Lodge and associate member of the Clarksville Weslyan church. Surviving of the wife, the former Ruby Willette, two sons, Gerald, Jr., at home and Daniel of Belding; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Audrey Germond of California and Mrs. Irma Jones of Bradenton, Fla The body will be at the Pickens-Koops funeral chapel at Clarksville until noon Friday when it will be taken to the Weslyan church for funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Arthur Rudder will officiate and interment will be at the Clarksville cemetery.
