Wave-Times, Friday, Oct. 15, 1920 The deceased sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Hecht, nee Jumper, was born the 6th day of September, A.D. 1834, in Montgomery township, Richland Co., Ohio. On February 15, 1857 she was united in holy wedlock to Frederick Ferdinand Hecht. This union was blessed with four children, two sons and two daughters. Margarett Jane Brooks, now living, Sophia Wolf, who died Feb. 2, age 41 years, William who died at the age of 31 years, and Franklin who died when only 24 years old. In the year 1863 the family moved to Carlton township, Barry Co., and settled on the farm where she spent the remainder of her life. She died September 30, 1920 after a brief illness, immediate cause of death being neuralgia of the heart. Her age was 86 years and 20 days. She leaves to mourn her departure a daughter, Mrs. Margarett Brooks; one brother, Andrew Jumper of St. Johns; 13 grand children; 24 great grandchildren, and a host of friends. -CARD OF THANKS- We wish to thank the neighbors and friends who so willingly helped us during the sickness and death of our beloved mother and grandmother.
