Martin G. Heckathorn Died.

Last Monday morning about six o’clock the spirit of Martin G. Heckathorn, of
this city, severed its connection with its earthly habitation and winged its
flight to other realms.

For many months Mr. Heckathorn has been a great sufferer from Bright’s disease
and his constitution wracked with the pain from the disease gave up the struggle
and he passed away.  He had reached the age of sixty-four and had many friends
who will regret to learn of his decease.  The funeral was held at the house this
afternoon, Rev. Sheehan officiating, and kind friends bore his remains to their
last resting place in the Belding cemetery.
