Linda K. (Hearld) Heckman, age 63, of Matherton, passed away Saturday, 
February 24, 2007 at her home.  Linda was born January 8, 1944 in Matherton to 
Robert and Isabell (Osborne) Hearld.  She graduated from St. John the Baptist 
High School in 1962.  Linda married Edward Heckman on August 28, 1965 at St. 
John the Baptist Catholic Church in Hubbardston where she was also a member.  
She was part of the choir for over 50 years playing the organ and singing.  
Linda enjoyed shopping, fishing, and going to the casino.

She is survived by her husband Edward of Matherton, three children, Darrel 
(Shannon) Heckman of Hubbardston, Darrin (Gina) Heckman of Pewamo, Lori (Hans) 
Gullbeaux of Chesterfield, 6 grandchildren, Seth, Regan, Noah, Peyton, 
Dominic, and Brady and a brother, Robert (Jane) Hearld of Matherton.  Also 
many close friends and relatives.  Linda was preceded in death by her parents 
and a sister, Mary Ellen Hearld.

A mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at noon 
at St. John the Baptist Church in Hubbardston.  Interment will be in St. John 
the Baptist Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. 
and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. 
with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home of 
Carson City.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Carson Home Care.
