The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 12, 1963


Funeral service for Mrs. Ione Kuhtz Hecox, 67, of 622 Union street, was held 
Monday at 2 p.m. with Paul H. Coover officiating.  Temporary entombment was at 
Highland Park cemetery.  Mrs. Hecox died unexpectedly at Ionia hospital 
Saturday morning.

Bearers were Cliff Morse, William J. Treynick, Roy Weber, Fred Thwaites, Blaine 
Laden and Viggo Nielsen.  Members of Daughters of American Revolution attended 
in a group.

Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Stuart O’Byrne of Chicago, Mrs. 
Hazel Seven, Mrs. Sally Seven and Mrs. Katherine Shanahan of Grand Rapids, and 
Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Treynick of Portland.
