Belding Banner-News, 16 Jun 1966

Elmer Frank Heether, 76, of 1014 Alderman street, died Friday, June 10, at
Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville, following a lingering illness.  Born
in Otisco township, Ionia county, Jan. 24, 1890, he was married April 25, 1917,
to the former Gladys King, who preceded him in death in 1957.

He was retired from Jolly Kids Togs as janitor.  He was a member of Belding Holy
Cross Lutheran Church and a member of the Modern Woodman.

Surviving are his son, Kenneth E. Heether, Belding; two grandchildren and
several nieces and nephews.

Services were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Huffman Funeral Home with pastor
George Mahder officiating.  Burial was in Otisco cemetery, Otisco township. 
Pallbearers were Waldo Reif, Andrew Juhl, Byron Haskin, Floyd Ehlert, Charles
Mahar, and Purcell Durnell.
