The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 5, 1985

Donna M. (Peterman) Heffelbower, 57, of 4882 Bluewater Highway, Saranac, died 
Monday morning in Ionia County Memorial Hospital.  She was born March 29, 
1927, in Greenville, the daughter of Stanley and Blanche Robertson.  She had 
made her home in Saranac for the past 13 years and was a retired payroll clerk 
from the Michigan Department of Corrections.  She was a member of the Day 
Bible Church of Saranac and the Order of the Eastern Star.

She was married to Elvin Heffelbower June 23, 1972; he survives her.  Also 
surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John (Sandy) Johnson of Greenville; one son, 
Ronald Peterman, of Stanton; three step-sons, Robert Heffelbower of Grand 
Rapids, Roger Heffelbower of Mulliken and Allen Heffelbower of Saranac, and 
five grandchildren.  Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Jerry (Ardis) Bower of 
Greenville and three brothers, Lyle Robertson of Lansing, Darrell Robertson of 
Greenville, and Roger Robertson of Belding.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Stebbins and Simpson 
Funeral Home, Sheridan, with the Rev. Gordon Brouwer officiating.  Burial will 
be in the Sidney Cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral home Tuesday 
from 7 to 8:30 p.m.  A memorial has been established for the Michigan Heart 
Association, in care of the funeral home.
