Mrs. Margaret Heffron, aged 86 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
Frank Lally, Friday afternoon.  She had been in poor health for several weeks 
but was not considered seriously ill until a few days before her death.  Mrs. 
Heffron had lived in Grattan township for many years.  Besides the daughter, 
Mrs. Lally, she is survived by four sons: Lee, Thomas, Melbourne and John, all 
of Grattan township.  There are several grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in St. Patrick’s Catholic church at Parnell and 
burial was in the Parnell cemetery Tuesday morning.
