Ernest A. Heinrich, 89, former Lyons resident, died Monday in Detroit.  He was 
born in Berent, Germany, Jan. 18, 1896, and came with his family to Cleveland 
in 1902 and to Detroit in 1910.  He graduated from the Wilbur Wright Trade 
School and was a tool and die maker with Ford Motor Co. until moving to Lyons 
in 1934.  He was employed by TRW in Portland and S&F Tool and Die in Lyons 
after moving to Lyons.

He was married to Marjarie Sheridan in Lyons; she preceded him in death.  He 
moved to Berkeley, Mich., in 1977.  He was a life member of the Lyons Masonic 
Lodge and of the Lyons Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Ernest E. Heinrich of Detroit and a daughter, Lorretta 
Whitson, of Berkeley; two grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great 
great grandchild; and two sisters, Louise Packer of Parma Heights, Ohio, and 
Selma Long of Elyria, Ohio.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Hull Memorial Chapel with 
the Rev. Paul Carmichael of Lyons Baptist Church officiating.  Burial will be 
in Lyons Cemetery.  Masonic cervices will be held at the funeral chapel 
Wednesday at 8 p.m.
