Ronald Heintzelman, age 54, of Ionia, passed away July 29, 2004 in Ann Arbor.

He was born September 27, 1949 in Ionia, the son of Everett and Geraldine 
(Taylor) Heintzelman.  Ronald married Sandy Esham in 1972 at the United 
Methodist Church in Ionia.  He was employed by General Motors.  Ronald served 
in the Marines during Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Heintzelman of Ionia, sons Shannon (fiancé 
Darce Simon) Heintzelman of Ionia, and Shane (Amber) Heintzelman of 
Middleville; daughters Shawn (Paul) Frisbie of Ionia, Shasta Heintzelman of 
Portland, and Shalyn Heintzelman of Ionia; brother, David (Doni) Heintzelman of 
Ionia; sister Sandy (Kyril) Brown of Lake Odessa, and grandchildren Cheyanne, 
Trenton, Sierre, Sean, and Riley.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, and one brother, Ken.  Funeral 
services will be held at the Shiloh Community Church with Pastor Ken Harger 
officiating, 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 4.

Visitation will be held at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia, Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 
4p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Internment at Woodard Lake Cemetery.  
Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to the American Heart 
Association or Ionia Area Hospice.
