She was born in Saranac on Aug. 4, 1939, the daughter of Verlin J. and Dorothy Martin Fisher. She graduated from Saranac High School in 1960. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Greenville. She worked as a helper for the Cub Scouts and Brownies and taught Sunday School and Bible School. She worked for St. Paul Church Food Closet for 10 years. Her hubby was oil paintings. She married Robert Heintzelman on March 7, 1970. She is survived by her husband, Robert; one son, Robert Mark of Greenville; one daughter and son-in-law, Sonja Ann and Tony Shinabarger of Stanton; her mother, Dorothy Fisher of Saranac; three brothers, Duane Fisher of Saranac, Keith Fisher of Oklahoma City and Rick Fisher of Lowell; and two sisters, Sharon Grawburg of Lake Odessa and Elizabeth Meyers of Saranac. She was preceded in death by her father, Verlin Fisher of Saranac, who died in 1986. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Cook Funeral Home, Ionia, with the Rev. James Foster from St. Paul Lutheran Church, Greenville, officiating. Interment will be in Balcom Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Rich Street Chapel of the funeral home.
