Lake Odessa Wave - Times - December 3, 1920
           MRS. JOHN HEINTZELMAN LAID TO REST
                                   -------------
   Last Sunday morning word passed through the village that Mrs. John Heintzelman
had just passed away.
   For many months her condition has been such that she has had the sympathy of all
who knew her.  Her 
suffering has been great but she was sustained with the hope of recovery until a
short time before the end 
came.
   Mrs. Heintzelman was an active member of the Royal Neighbors and the Lady
Maccabees and was of an 
active, energetic nature, enjoying when in health, the social gatherings with her
friends.  She will be greatly 
missed from her home and from the above societies as also from her neighborhood.
   The funeral was held at the M. E. church Tuesday afternoon.  Sermon by the
pastor, Rev. Nagler.  Mr. and 
Mrs. Goodemoot sang.  Mrs. S. W. Dann preside at the piano
   Interment was at Lakeside cemetery.

                  OBITUARY
   Helen E. Lynn was born near Warren, Sullington township, Trumbull county, Ohio,
Jan. 29, 1866.
   She did at her home in Lake Odessa, Nov. 28, 1920, aged 54 years, 9 months, 28
days.  She was married to 
John Heintzelman Jan. 1, 1883, who with her three children, Mrs. Ernest Wells, Mr.
Alfred Heintzelman of 
Grand Rapids and Bernice at home, also three grandchildren, survive her.
   After their marriage they spent one year on her father's farm near Dutton thence
to St. Louis, Mich., where 
they lived but a short time, when they moved to their own farm home near Dutton,
where most of her life was 
spent.  And there as well as here she leaves a host of sincere friends.
   She has been a loving companion, a good mother, a kind neighbor.
   They moved to Lake Odessa in the spring of 1912.
   She has been a patient sufferer for many months but was always cheerful and
thankful for the many acts of 
kindness shown her.
She has gone from earth's labors and pain--
Gone to rest.
There has our loved one gone.
