The Greenville Daily News, Wednesday, October 12, 1966


Lee J. Heliker, 74, 7121 Storey Rd., partner in Heliker and Smith Roofing 
Contractors, Cooks Corners, died unexpectedly Tuesday at Bear Lake.  A veteran 
of World War I, Mr. Heliker was born in Vickeryville June 12, 1892.  He was a 
member of Belding Lodge No. 355, F & AM, Dewitt-Clinton Consistory, the Lions 
Club and First Congregational Church.

On December 20, 1926 he was married to Emily Stewart, who survives.  Surviving 
also are two sisters, Mrs. Hugh (Dana) Edgerton, Prudenville, and Mrs. David 
(Mabel) Fuller, Traverse City, and a brother, John, Toledo.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Huffman Funeral Home, 
Belding.  The Rev. Wilford Wood will officiate.  Services will be under 
auspices of Belding Loge No. 355, F & AM.  Burial will be in Otisco Cemetery.
