Death resulted from an abcess under the right arm. The funeral was largely attended and was held at the M.E. Church in West Bloomer, Tuesday, at 10:30 a.m., the services being conducted by Rev. G.H. Lockhart of Palo, and Rev. N.L. Otis. The deceased was a soldier in the was for the union, in Co. G., 65th Ohio Infantry, and lost the use of his left arm by a gun shot wound. He was born in Livingston Co., N.Y., in 1837, moved to Ohio in 1855 and in 1878 settled in Bloomer township. In early life he was a member of the M.E. Church. He leaves a widow, three daughters and brothers and sisters.
