Daily Sentinel-Standard - Monday, Nov. 17, 1919

The funeral for Mrs. Lillian Helmer was held at the Lowrey and Boyton 
undertaking rooms at 1:30 and at the Evangelical church at two o'clock. Rev. 
Deabler officiated, and Mrs. Morganthaler and Seymour and George Bills, 
furnished the music. The church was crowded with sympathizing friends, and a 
great many very beautiful flowers were on the casket. The bearers were a 
brother and three cousins of Mrs. Helmer, Howard Hopkins, and Arba H., Allan 
and Kenneth Green. The interment was in Oak Hill cemetery. Relatives from out 
of town who were present were Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Hopkins of Grand Rapids, and 
Bert Hopkins of Vermontville.
