Ionia Sentinel, 7 Mar 1974

Funeral services for Mae B. Helmes were held Wednesday afternoon at Zion United 
Methodist church with the Rev. George Chaffee officiating, assisted by the Rev. 
Lloyd Walker.  Interment was at Tuttle Cemetery.  Organist was Mrs. Evelyn 
Waters and vocalist was Mrs. Margaret Seidelman.  Bearers and honorary bearers 
were her grandsons.

Attending and seated in groups were members of Bethany Class of the church, 
Blue Star Mothers, Business and Professional Women’s club and office employees 
of Ionia State hospital and Riverside Center.
