James. M. “Mike” Helsel, 57, of Hubbardston, passed away at his home.  He was
born Dec. 14, 1948, in Cadillac, the son of Roy F. and Lulu L. Mathews Helsel. 
He had retired from Electrolux and enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Tracey, and his parents.  He is survived by
his children, Missy Southwell of Panama City, Fla., Cindy and Kris Stephens of
Gowen, Scott and Kammi Helsel of Morley; two grandchildren, Tyler Helsel, Shyan
Stephens; brother, Ray and Cindy Helsel of Hubbardston; sister, Dorothea and Jim
Zwerk of Belidng; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 3 p.m. Tuesday at Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville, with
Pastor Jamey Nichols officiating.  Members of the family will meet with
relatives and friends before the service.
