The Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, December 31, 1945
Funeral services for Arthur J. Hemingway, 88, who died Wednesday, December 26, 
were held Saturday at 2 o’clock from the Boynton funeral home with the Rev. A. 
J. Westmaas officiating.  Interment was at the Sheridan cemetery.  Bearers 
were Frank Janes, James Nichols, Laurence Hale, D. O. Mellinger, Lincoln Rush 
and Viggo Nielsen.  Attending from away were Miss Elsie Jennings and Miss Ulah 
Jennings of Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. Guy Hoppough of Portland and Mr. and Mrs. 
Roy Fuller and Ben Fuller of Grand Rapids.
