The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, December 19, 1966
Elizabeth Hemingway, 83, of 118 Rich street died suddenly at her home Sunday 
afternoon.  Born September 10, 1883 in Sheridan she was the daughter of Mr. 
and Mrs. A. J. Hemingway.  The family moved to Ionia in 1900 where she lived 
for the rest of her lifetime.  She is survived by a brother, Edson Hemingway 
of Ionia and a niece, Mrs. Ronald Bishop of Oregon.  Funeral services will be 
Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Boynton funeral home.  Rev. Robert McComb of First 
Presbyterian church will officiate with cremation at Graceland in Grand Rapids.

Subsequent Publication – Thursday, December 22, 1966

Cremation services were Wednesday at Graceland in Grand Rapids for Elizabeth 
Hemingway, who died December 18 in Ionia.
