Portland Review, 18 Dec 1969

DeWayne Hendee, age 25 died as the result of an accident on Divine Highway
December 13.  He is survived by his wife, Joyce; one son Ronald; father Hal
Hendee, Portland; grandmother, Mrs. Mina Brooks, Ionia; three brothers, Fred and
Robert Hendee of Portland and Raymond of Park Ridge, Ill.  Two sisters Mrs.
Gayla Stafford, Palo Alto, Calif. and Mrs. Arlene Thelen of Fowler.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Neller Funeral Home with Rev. Fr.
Melvin Fox and Rev. Maurice Christianson officiating.  Burial was in the
Portland Cemetery with Gordon Walkington, Dan Smith, David Smith, William
Thomas, Howard Graft and Carl Graft acting pallbearers.
