LAKE ODESSA- Glenn E. Hendee, 81, of 506 Martin road, route two, Woodland, died 
about  midnight Thursday at Pennock hospital in Hastings.

Born January 24, 1885 at Portland, he was the son of Ira and Lenora Phillips 
Hendee, and was married to Alice Laurell of Gaylord April 2, 1921. They lived 
in Grand Rapids following their marriage until moving to their present home in 
1938.

Mr. Hendee was a member of United Brethren church of Woodland.

Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Holden Harvey of Sault St. Marie, 
Ms. Chester Tucker of Auburn and Ms. Paul Schoupe of North Wilkesboro, N.C.; 15 
grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; four brothers, Myrle Hendee of Comstock 
Park, Hal of Portland, Leon of Chattanooga, Tenn. and Oscar of Los Angeles, 
Calif. 

Funeral service will be at Pickens funeral chapel at Lake Odessa Monday at 1 
p.m. with the Rev. Lowell Dimos officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood 
cemetery in Grand Rapids.
