          MRS. L. HENDEE DIES AT SISTER'S HOME
                               ---------------
LEAVES TWO DAUGHTERS ONE SISTER AND ONE GRANDCHLD.  
                        FUNERAL WEDNSDAY.
                               ---------------
Mrs. Laura Lockwood Hendee, 56, died at the home of her sister Mrs. Leone Steinmetz
of this village, 
Monday.
   Mrs. Hendee's home was in Mason.  She was born at Webberville, and on June 29,
1910 was married to 
Leonard Hendee, at Webberville.  She was a lifelong member of the Methodist church.
   Surviving besides the husband are two daughters Mrs. Dorothy Campbell of
Williamston and Pauline at 
home; the sister and one grandchild.
   The funeral was held at the Wortley & Baine funeral home Wednesday afternoon and
with Rev. C. E. Thies 
officiating and burial was in Lakeside cemetery.
