Services Held for Emma Henderson

Mrs. Emma Jane Henderson, 88, widow of Dr. Murray Henderson, passed away 
Saturday at Pennock Hospital after a long illness.

A native of Coopersville, she was the daughter of John and Melissa Mooney. She 
had been a local resident about 56 years. Dr. Henderson, a local dentist, passed 
away July 11, 1936.

Mrs. Henderson was a member of the Central United Methodist Church, where for a 
great many years she had been in charge of remembering member's illnesses and 
sorrows with flowers, the WSCS of the Church and Adult Fellowship and the 
Hospital Guild no. 26.  There are no immediate family surviving here - but a 
great many friends who will feel her absence keenly and deeply. 

Funeral services were held on Tuesday evening at 7:30 at the Pickens Funeral 
Chapel. Rev. Marvin Zimmerman officiated with burial at the Coopersville 
cemetery.
