Hendrick, 85, died Tuesday afternoon at Pennock Hospital in Hastings where she had been admitted Monday. Mrs. Hendrick was born February 23, 1869, in Gratiot county the daughter of Jonathan and Lucy Ann Thompson Baum. She lived in Ionia for several years until the death of her husband, Floyd M. in 1934, when she went to Route 1, Woodland to make her home with her son, Earl. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church. Surviving are three sons, Earl of Woodland, Orville of Sheridan, Almond of Vickeryville; five daughters, Mrs. Inez VanHaun of Elsie, Mrs. Jennie Hannley of Alma, Mrs. Hazel Schaffer of Maple Rapids, Mrs. Willie McRae of Perrinton and Mrs. Alice Stadlberger of Howell; 42 grandchildren and many great- grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Fidelia Lance of Drayton Plains also survives. Another son, Glenn, died in 1954. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon a 2 o’clock at Myers funeral home with Elder J. Bolejack officiating. Interment will be at Palo cemetery.
