Belding Banner, 21 Jun 1916

Word was received here Tuesday by Mrs. A. D. Jenks of the death of Mrs. Phoebe 
Hendricks, who passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Phillips 
near Ionia.  The deceased was well-known here where she resided for a number of 
years and was a most excellent woman.  She was 64 years old and leaves one 
daughter.

The funeral will be held Thursday at the late home and the remains will be 
brought here for burial in the old cemetery by the side of her husband, Geo. W. 
Hendricks.  The funeral procession is expected to reach the cemetery at two 
o’clock p.m.

[Transcriber’s Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she is 
buried in Old Belding Cemetery.]
