Ionia Sentinel Standard, 12 Jan 1934

Floyd M. Hendrick, 67, died at his home, 322 Forest street, Friday  morning,
from a heart attack.  Mr. Hendrick, who has lived nearly all his life in Ionia
county, was born in Alton, Michigan, later moving to Palo, where he married Dora
E. Baun, of Gratiot county.  Eleven years ago he moved to Ionia and has been
employed at the Michigan reformatory until the time of his death.  He was a
member of the Woodman lodge for many years, holding several offices.  Besides
the widow, he leaves nine children, Mrs. Clarence VanHaun, of Elsie, Glenn A.,
of Jackson; Orville, of Blanchard; Earl, of Clarksville; Almond of Palo; Mrs.
Victor Barnaby, of Pompeii; Mrs. John Schaffer, of Middleton; Mrs. H.J. McRae,
of Perrington; Mrs. Walter Stadberger of Ithaca and four sisters, Mrs. Bert
Staines, of Fenwick; Mrs. Bertha Beech, of Palo; Mrs. Ernest Thomas, of Fenwick
and Mrs. Jess Wilson, of Sheridan and 31 grandchildren.  Services have not been
arranged.
