The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, June 26, 1978

Mrs. Hellen M. Hendrick, 77, of Matherton, died Friday at Ionia County 
Memorial hospital.  She was born April 19, 1901 in North Plains township and 
lived in Owosso from 1928 to 1945, returning to Matherton.  Mrs. Hendrick was 
a member of the Matherton WMA and Hubbardston United Methodist church.

Survivors include her husband, Hollis; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Gardner of 
Lansing; Mrs. Lydia Jolly of Holland, Ohio and Mrs. Martha Zerba and Mrs. 
Pauline VanHeck of Carson City; one son Robert of Lansing; 19 grandchildren 
and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services were Monday afternoon from the Schnepp funeral home in Carson city 
with Rev. Norman Wiebert officiating.  Burial was in East Plains cemetery.
