Lakewood News - May 5, 2013

SARANAC, MI- Lois Mae (Bever) Hendrick, age 81, of Saranac, passed away April 
25, 2013 in Grand Rapids. She was born June 14, 1931 in Lake Odessa, the 
daughter of George and Flossie (Carter) Bever.

Lois married Royce Hendrick Oct. 26, 1950 in Saranac.

Lois is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Royce Hendrick of Saranac; 
children, Gregory (Vickie) Hendrick of Lake Odessa, Douglas (Nancy) Hendrick of 
Lake Odessa, and Jill Golden of Lowell; sister, Kathryn Tasker of Ionia; 
grandchildren, Richie, Amanda, Gretchen, Brandon and Erica; and one great 
grandchild, Elizabeth.

She was preceded in death by her two children, Michael and Robert Hendrick; and 
brothers, Marshall and Dean Bever.

A memorial service was held Monday, April 29, 2013 at Lake Odessa Grace 
Brethren Church with Pastor Karl Bashlor officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in Lois’ name to Gideon Bibles or Lake 
Odessa Grace Brethren Church (PO Box 654, Lake Odessa, MI 48849).
