Greenville Independent, 27 Nov 1912

D.M. Hendricks died very suddenly at his son Allen’s in Ronald Friday evening,
Nov. 22.  He was a veteran of the civil war and he leaves to mourn his loss
seven daughters and three sons, and a number of grandchildren.  The funeral was
held on Monday in Palo at the Baptist church.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Palo Cemetery.]
