Almond F. Hendrick, 75, of 2225 E. Colby Rd., Stanton, died this morning at
Grand Rapids Osteopathic Hospital following a lengthy illness.  Mr. Hendrick was
born March 9, 1908, at Ashley, the son of Floyd and Dora Hendrick.  A resident
of the Stanton and Sheridan area since 1946, he was formerly from Ionia.  He was
a retired factory worker.

Surviving are his wife, the former Genevieve Christy, whom he married April 22,
1935, at Ionia; a daughter, Mrs. Jordan (Mary) Buck, Fenwick; two sons, Floyd T.
Hendrick, Stanton, Harold A. Hendrick, with the U.S. Army in Germany; four
sisters, Mrs. Bernard (Jennie) Calvin, Alma, Mrs. Harvey (Winnie) McRae,
Perrinton, Mrs. Hazel Tyler, Maple Rapids, Mrs. Herbert (Alice) Rubach, Carson
City; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Stebbins and Simpson Funeral Home,
Sheridan, the Rev. Dr. Robert C. Waters officiating.  Interment will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Sheridan.  The family will meet with friends and relatives
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
