Mr. Hendrickson was born in Sweden, August 10, 1864. He was a sailor on the Atlantic ocean for 10 years and located in Chicago when he was 22 years of age. Here he was employed as inspector of the Illinois Central railroad for 30 years. At the age of 29 he was united in marriage [unreadable words] Anderson who died a year ago last January. It was exactly 20 years ago Monday that Mr. and Mrs. Hendrickson located on this farm near Muir. He is survived by four children and one grandson, Mrs. William Steele, Florence, Harry, Jr., and Hildegarde and the small grandson, Harry William, all of whom are at home. Mr. Hendrickson also leaves one sister Mrs. Sigrid Anderberg, of Chicago, and two brothers, Oscar of Three Oaks and Gus of Chicago. Funeral services will be [unreadable words] his home Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment will be at the Highland Park cemetery.
