Ionia County Shopper's Guide, 30 Aug 2008

Joseph Leo Hengesbach passed away August 26, 2008 at the age of 84.  He owned
and operated Hengesbach Tractor Sales in Portland for over 50 years.  Surviving
are his children: Debra (Roy) Wallace of Lansing, Michael of Portland, Sheila
(Randy) VanWormer of Palmetto, FL, Gail of Grand Ledge, Joseph (Sue), Steven
(Jean), Edward (Tracy), and Laurie (Richard) Krausz all of Portland, Faye (Dale)
Schmitz of Fowlerville and Amy (Kevin) Robbins of Holland; 26 grandchildren; 6
great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  Mass of Christina Burial was
celebrated Friday, August 29, at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Rev. Larry
King presiding.  Rite of Committal followed at Portland Cemetery.  Arrangements
by Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland.  Memorial
contributions may be made to the Fr. Flohe Foundation in memory of Mr. Hengesbach.
