Burmiah Henney Dies At Grand Rapids

Mrs. Burmiah A. Henney, 75, of Grand Rapids and formerly Lake Odessa resident, 
passed away Tuesday morning at the Lutheran Home in Grand Rapids following a 
long illness.

She was born at Lake Odessa April 14, 1896, the daughter of Charles M. and Della 
(Chamberlin) Lepard. She married Leon Henney of Lake Odessa Nov. 25, 1915, and 
they lived here for several years on the Charles Lepard farm west of Lake Odessa 
and also on a farm northwest of Clarksville before moving to Grand Rapids in 
1923.

Mrs. Henney was a member of Park Congregational church in Grand Rapids.

No immediate survivors.

Mrs. Henney reposed at the Ronan Funeral Home in Grand Rapids from 1:00 o'clock 
Wednesday until 11:00 o'clock Thursday forenoon. Funeral services were held 
Thursday (today) at 2:00 o'clock at Pickens Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa. Dr. 
Carl E. Martinson officiated, with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
