Ionia Sentinel, 24 May 1878

The funeral of Herman Henrisch, a soldier of the war for the Union, took place
on Tuesday p.m.  The procession was quite imposing, led by the Ionia City Band
and Light Guard, and attended by the German labor-aid society in a body.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Oak Hill Cemetery.]
