Ionia County News - Thurs. Jan. 27, 1944

Rollie K. Henry, 62, passed away early Thursday morning, at his home after a 
brief illness. Mr. Henry was born in Saranac August 7, 1881, to O. Hampton and 
Sarah Henry and spent his entire life here. He was a jeweler and operated a 
jewelry store and shoe business for a number of years. In later years he was a 
salesman for the Midstate Wire and Steel Co., of Illinois. The past five years 
have been spent mostly at home because of a severe heart ailment. He was 
married December 26, 1906, to Miss Gertrude Longfellow, who survives him. Also 
surviving are his son Wayne and a daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Olson; his father, 
O.H. Henry and one granddaughter. Funeral services were held at Morris Funeral 
Home, Saturday afternoon, with burial in Saranac cemetery.
