Lillian A. Henry, 91, of Ionia, passed away October 1, 2005 at the Heartland 
Health Care Center.  She as born June 24, 1913, the daughter of Michael and 
Catherine (Haramoluva) Skopec, in Chicago, Illinois.  On August 4, 1933, she 
married Frank W. Stephan, who proceeded her in death in 1977.  In 1978, Lillian 
married Arthur Henry, who proceeded her in death in 1987.

Lillian was a member of St. Joseph parish in Belding for 50 years, the Altar 
Rosary Society at St. Joseph’s , and the St. Cecelia Circle.  She was an avid 
embroiderer, and used to play the steel guitar.

She is survived by her daughter Elaine (Jon) Caswell of Ionia, daughter-in-law, 
Shanna (Wendall) Ellsworth, grandchildren Lisa (Chad) Cole of Saline, 
Christopher (Rona) Caswell of Grand Rapids, Stephen Caswell of California, and 
Sally Jo (Gregg) Ledvina of Wisconsin, great-grandchildren Luke, Andrew, 
Jerrod, Joel and Maya.

Lillian was proceeded by two sons, Frank E. Stephan, and Kenneth J. Stephan, 
one granddaughter, Susan Kay, and one sister, Mary Williams.

Funeral services for Lillian will be held Monday, October 4, 2004 at 11 a.m. at 
SS. peter and Paul with Father Melvin Fox officiating.  Interment Resthaven 
Cemetery in Belding.  Visitation will be at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia from 7 
to 8:30 p.m., with a Scripture reading at 7 p.m.  Anyone wishing may make 
memorial contributions to Ionia County Memorial Hospital.
