Ionia Sentinel, 15 Mar 1974

Mrs. Agnes E. Heppe, 78, of 204 Leonard, Belding, died Thursday at the United 
Memorial hospital extended care facility at Greenville.

Born in Cook county, Illinois, March 22, 1896, she was the daughter of Samuel 
and Rachael DeMoure.  her husband, George Heppe, died in 1967.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Alta Andres of Belding and Mrs. Lorna Ehlert 
of route 1, Orleans; son, Orville Heppe of Hopkins; 17 grandchildren and 11 
great grandchildren; brother, Delemar DeMoure of Kankakee, Ill.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Huffman funeral home in 
Belding.  Rev. Darwyn Hassert will officiate and interment will be at the 
Higbee cemetery, Orleans township.  Visitation hours at the funeral home are 
from 7 until 8:30 p.m.  A memorial has been established for the American Cancer 
society.  Bearers will be Joseph and Daniel Heppe, Martin Andres, Thomas Long, 
Jerry and Russell Heppe.
