The Belding Banner, Thursday, March 18, 1965


Mrs. Elsie Heppe of 1918 Bellvue Ave., Ionia, died Saturday at an Ionia Nursing 
Home.  She was 83 years of age and was born in Orleans township September 12, 
1881 and was a lifelong resident of Ionia County.  

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Rilla Treynor, Belding, Mrs. Gladys Brewer, 
Haslett, Mich., Mrs. Margaret Gibbs, Grand Rapids; five sons, Myrl Antcliff, 
Grand Rapids, Robert Antcliff, Mason; Warren Antcliff, Ionia, Kester Antcliff, 
Lansing, Harold Antcliff, Belding; one sister, Mrs. Alta Hamilton, Edmore; 20 
grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Huffman Funeral Home with 
the Rev. Ralph Dean of Central Methodist officiating.  Burial was in Green 
Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Donald Antcliff, Kester Antcliff, Claude Antcliff, 
Howard Antcliff, Byrl Brewer, Max Gibbs.
