Greenville Road, Greenville, died Saturday evening, Nov. 23, 2002, at United Memorial Health Center Long Term Care Unit. She was born March 11, 1940, in Greenville, the daughter of Oscar Don and Rosemond Olsen Jensen. She was a graduate of Belding High School in 1958 with high honors and attended Valparasio University. She was the owner of the former Herald’s Restaurant in Belding, and for many years she worked at Rice Insurance. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Greenville and volunteered at the Greenville Ecumenical Food Pantry. She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Edna Jensen; a sister, Vanieta Adams; a nephew, Ricky Adams; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Geraldine and Edward Herald; and a sister-in-law, Jill Lindsay. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Carrie Herald of Grand Rapids; her daughter, Jacki Lynn Hall of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Chelsea Herald, Derick Herald, Branden Morofski, Wayne Hall, Anthony Herald, Brianna Herald, Brooke Herald; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Risé Jensen of Jacksboro, Tenn.; sister and brother-in-law with whom she made her home, Linda and Henry Kreft of Greenville; nieces and nephews, Brian Kreft of Greenville, Tammy Gill of Grand Rapids, Susan Kreft, Donald and Becky Adams, all of California; aunts and uncle, Mertie “Mom” Albrechtsen and Hilda Weedmark of Belding, Chester and Marian Jensen of Sheridan; foster nieces, Julia Powers and Stephany Kelly, both of Greenville. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church with her pastor, the Rev. Mark. R. Pflug, officiating. Burial is in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. today at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville. Memorial contributions may be given in her name to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church building fund.
