Daily Sentinel-Std. - Tuesday, Feb. 8, 1921

Richard S., the three months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Herbert, died at 
the home in Ionia township Sunday afternoon. Due to the fact that Mrs. Herbert 
is also ill only prayer services were held at the Lowrey & Boynton undertaking 
rooms this afternoon and were conducted by Rev. Harry E. Porter. The body will 
be placed in the Schmolz vault at Highland Park until further time when the 
mother can attend the funeral.
