The first thing to catch the eye of those as early on the street as 7 a.m. was a funeral procession under escort of shopmen conveying the remains of Al. F. Herbert to train, for transportation to Marshall, where they were accompanied by the bereaved widow, her mother, Mrs. John Williamson, Mrs. Robert Williamson, Mrs. J. W. Williamson, Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Moon, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Herbert, Will Herbert, Fred Herbert, Irving Williamson, and H. A. Rich. By the same train were taken the remains of Edward Durling to Vermillion, Ohio, accompanied by the mother, the father, and a sister, Mrs. Burke. The scene of parting at the station was a pathetic part of the history of these sad days. Card of Thanks: We wish to thank our good friends and neighbors for the many acts of kindness and sympathy extended to us in our bereavement. Mrs. Allen F.
