Ionia Daily Standard, 11 Feb 1898

Laura Ann Herrick, mother of Mrs. Walter A. Yeomans, died last night, at the 
home of her daughter, at the extreme age of 93 years.  She was the relict of 
Harlow Herrick, who died some seven years ago, at the age of 92 years.  They 
were the parents of a large family of children, six of whom – two boys and four 
girls – are yet alive.  Mrs. S. W. Gott and Mrs. Walter A. Yeomans, of Easton, 
are daughters of deceased and the only children who live hereabout.  Mrs. 
Herrick was a native of Boston, Mass., but the last 30 years of her life were 
spent in Michigan.  The funeral was attended from the home where she died, at 
1:30 p.m. on Saturday, and interment will be in Oak Hill.
