The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, September 23, 1967

Mrs. Bessie E. Herrick, 75, of Palo died Thursday evening at Carson City 
hospital.  She was married to Lewis Herrick in 1912.

A member of the Butternut Bible church she was also active at one time in the 
Presbyterian church of Muir where her husband served as pastor.

Besides her husband she leaves a son, James of San Diego, Calif.; brother, S. 
M. Joy of Lynwood, Calif.; sister, Mrs. Grace Fugate of Oakdale, Calif.; two 
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. from Stebbins funeral home in 
Sheridan with burial in Palo cemetery.  Bearers will be Donald Pendell, 
Malcolm Kendall, Lee Sloan, Donald Hull, Julius Treusdell and Harry Coulson.
