She was converted at the age of 16 or 17, modest and quite diffident naturally, yet faithful and open in her religious life, an exceptionaly good S.S. teacher, and prompt in discharge of duties in devotional meetings. She and her husband maintained a most excellent influence in their neighborhood and her death leaves a vacancy, both in her house and in christian work. The testimony of neighbors lovingly given, we can't spare her from our S.S. and meetings. Her sickness was severe, and almost hopeless from the begiinning and she went through it all with a cheerful spirit, constantly witnessing to the preciousness of her religion and entreating all her frinds to faithful chrisian living; a most calm and peaceful death. The funeral services were held at the Baptist church on Thursday at 11 o'clock, conduced by Rev. D.B. Munger, (pastor) who preached a very interesting sermon to a large congregation of loving and sympathinzing friends and neighbors. Additional Comments: Burial in Palo Cemetery.
